WHO SHOULD BE CITIZEN OF THE YEAR?

Taylor Rotary Club is seeking the community’s help to determine who should receive the honor of being named 2024’s Outstanding Citizen of the Year.

“Taylor Rotarians have coordinated this honor since 1943 when Harry Pickoff won it the first time,” Club President Greg Redden said. “This annual award is a statement about our community and its values, we could not choose the recipient without the help of the public.”

o be considered, nominees must have resided in East Williamson County and be involved in local activities in 2024. He or she must have been engaged in a variety of community activities over an extended period of time and must be generally recognized as a caring and sharing person who donated his or her time and talents for the betterment of the community.

“A person can only win this award once,” Redden said. “It is a very high honor.”

The deadline for nomination is Dec. 6. To get copy of the nomination form, contact Redden at hmx1234@aol.com or Committee Chair Brian Gray at bgraypcb@sbcglobal.net.
The award will be presented by Rotarian Greg Redden at the Chamber and Community Awards Banquet in January.
